If you switch this feature on in the app's Settings panel (accessed via the gear icon at the bottom right of the main Notes or Snippets screens), TypeIt4Me will also suggest snippets from your active set and other words that are possible matches for the letters you are typing. You don't need to have a good memory to use TypeIt4Me there's another way that TypeIt4Me can help you type faster: auto-suggestion. Have TypeIt4Me Touch suggest snippets and words as you type ![]() The list of notes is sorted by date modified, with the most recent appearing at the top. ![]() When you're done typing your note, you'll notice it now appears at the top of the list of notes and that it displays the first few characters you typed as the default title of the note. It can be a fantastic aid when taking notes during a presentation or lecture, for example. Now you're getting the picture, right? Typing on your iPhone is going to be a heckuva lot quicker once you've defined a bunch of snippets for words and phrases you use all the time. Just type hwu, then press space and see what happens. When you’re signed in to iCloud on your iPhone any sets you have stored there will appear in a list. If you use TypeIt4Me on the Mac you may wish to use your existing snippets that are already in iCloud. Now any changes or additions you make to the set will be reflected on your other devices too. Hit the 'Move to iCloud' button and you're good to go. To copy a set to iCloud, simply tap on it in the Snippet Sets list, then press the Actions icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. You can also copy snippet sets to iCloud and use them directly from there - that way you can easily use the same TypeIt4Me abbreviations on your iPhone, your iPad and your Mac (both TypeIt4Me 6 and the Mac App Store version of TypeIt4Me include iCloud support). You might find it useful to organise your snippets so that they're grouped into different sets for different contexts or you could have just one set that contains all your snippets. Once you've got the hang of creating snippets, you can build up your own personal library of useful abbreviations for stuff you find yourself typing often. Now when you're composing notes in TypeIt4Me, every time you type "hwu" followed by a space it will expand on the fly to "Hey, what's up?".
